This three-hour workshop is an introduction to hand embroidery, guided throughout by Amelia of Paloma Stitch. Working on a pre-prepared sampler, you’ll learn eight foundation stitches at a steady pace, with plenty of time to practise each one before moving on.

Amelia brings her full thread collection to class so you can choose your own colours to work with. You’ll take home your sampler along with Amelia’s printed tips and instructions so you can carry on practising at home.

Eight foundation stitches covered include straight stitch, backstitch, stem and outline stitch, split backstitch, chain stitch, satin stitch, French knots, and lazy daisy.
